Music has always been a huge part of Mikaela's life. She plays the guitar and piano and has been taking lessons since the ages of 6 and 9 respectively. She has also been training vocally since she was 7, performing in local theatre productions and vocal competitions. Mikaela was the runner up in the 2023 Global Country Star Search competition and headed to Nashville in spring of 2024. She is honored that she was chosen to be taken down to Nashville, got the opportunity to perform in the NACMAI competition in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and was given many great experiences to help make her dreams come true and share her music with the world. Mikaela came home with some amazing memories and three awards from the NACMAI competition. "Most Promising Vocalist" and "Most Promising Entertainer" were two of the awards she won. She also won "Song Of The Year" for her original song, "The Cowboy Runs," which Mikaela wrote herself.
